Death Valley Telescope Peak

Telescope Peak ( 11,043ft ) above Death Valley

Telescope Peak from Badwater Telescope Peak is the highest point within Death Valley NP in the US state of California. It is the highest point of the Panamint Range  and lies in Inyo County. The mountain was named for the distance  visible from the summit - one can see for over one hundred miles  including west to Mount Whitney and east to Charleston Peak.
