of Rob Roy MacGregor who died there in 1734.

Strathyre - Balquhidder Circuit - Route Description:

An enjoyable ride through Strathyre Forest with mountains, lochs and wildlife.
Scenic high points include Loch Voil linked to Loch Lubnaig by the River Baivag, Ben Ledi and the
pretty villages of Balquhidder ( site of the grave of Rob Roy McGregor ) and Strathyre.
From the car park on the southern edge of Strathyre, join the NCN 7 cycle path
for a short distance towards the village and a gate at the narrow road crossing.
Take a left and then next right, follow the rural road into Balquhidder.
On entering the village follow the road to the right and straight on until a junction with Route 7.
Turn right and follow the cycle path back to Strathyre.
