      on the south bank of the Firth of Forth, some 17 miles ( 27km ) to the NW of Edinburgh and 7 miles ( 11km ) to the east of Falkirk Bo'ness was formerly a centre of heavy industry, coal mining and had a major port. It is now primarily a commuter town. Bo'ness is at the eastern extremity of the Antonine Wall  |
