 The
Shwemawdaw Paya ( the "Golden
God Temple" ) at Bago / Pegu. The Shwemadaw, at 375 feet, is the tallest pagoda in Myanmar ( although Shwedagon Pagoda, c322ft, in Yangon is usually credited as the tallest pagoda in Myanmar ). Shwemadaw, Shwedagon and Kyaiktiyo are famous Mon pagodas. |
