The
Grand Combin is one of the highest peaks in the European Alps
 - only
Mont Blanc and Monte Rosa being higher.
Ascent from the Valsorey Hut via the Col du Meitin to the Valsorey
Summit ( 4184m )
 then along the broad summit ridge to the main summit of Croissant
Grafeneire ( 4314m ),
 descent by the "Corridor" and returning over the Col du Meitin.
